ステートメント
生活と結びつく手仕事を行う帽子作家の中村綾花と美術家の杉原信幸のユニットです。土地の記憶の欠片を繋ぎ合わせることで、土地に宿っている形を造形化し、その創作行為から生まれる身体による即興の舞による儀式を行います。土地の文化を受け継ぎ、生活とアートが分けられる以前の豊かな精神性と身体性を蘇らせることで、生活と美しさのともにある文化を呼び覚まします。
Statement
Our team consists of Nakamura Ayaka and Sugihara Nobuyuki. Nakamura Ayaka, a hat maker, whose handcrafts is closely related to life. By linking with the memory of the earth, we create works that echo the land itself; in the process of artistic creation, our body will change, and it will improvise dance as a ritual. Through inheriting traditional culture and reviving the rich spiritual and physicality before the separation of life and art, we evoke a culture where life and beauty coexist.
